Transportation
Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is located in Palmetto Dunes. From the northeast or southeast, travel on Interstate 95 to Exit 8 onto Highway 278. Continue on Highway 278 on to Hilton Head Island. After mile marker #8, take the first hand turn at the stoplight into Palmetto Dunes Resort. Travel approximately one mile, taking the right fork and stopping at the South Security Gate.
The Security Gate Officer will issue a hangtag that permits guests staying at the property to proceed to the Omni.
Upon check-in at the resort, guests will receive an Omni Parking Pass to put in the windshield of their vehicle for entry to and from the resort during their stay.
Please note that motorcycle are not permitted in Palmetto Dunes and commercial vehicles will need to have a decal or pay a daily fee to enter through the security gate.
Driving From Savannah Airport
Leaving the airport, turn left onto Airways Avenue and continue to I-95 north. Get off at exit 8 (Hwy 278). Follow Hwy 278 east (approx. 23 miles to the bridge) to Hilton Head. Stay right (Business district) on Hwy 278 for another 8 miles. At the Palmetto Dunes traffic light, make a left turn into Palmetto Dunes. The Omni is about 1 mile into Palmetto Dunes just beyond the South Guard Gate. The resort will be on your left.

Driving From Hilton Head Airport
Turn left onto Beach City Rd. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto Matthews Drive. Use the left two lanes to turn left on William Hilton Parkway. In approx. 6 miles, at the Palmetto Dunes traffic light, make a left turn into Palmetto Dunes. The Omni is about 1 mile into Palmetto Dunes just beyond the South Guard Gate. The resort will be on your left.
